Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron are getting married in a big-screen adaptation of “The Danish Girl,” according to THR. Based on a true story, the film focuses on Einar and Greta Wegener, two Danish artists whose marriage drastically changed when Einar became the first postoperative transsexual. The trade says Anand Tucker is attached to direct the script by Lucinda Coxon, who adapted David Ebershoff’s novel. Kidman is also on board to produce. Kidman last starred in “The Golden Compass.” She will next be seen in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming romantic drama “Australia". As for Theron, she will soon be seen in “The Burning Plain,” followed by “The Road.”
